@Jerome Charles Potts: Hello. Would you know how to gloss this verb in its first sense? I can't think of any accurate English equivalent. I've already removed the previous definition, which was "to insult someone": there was a confusion between semantics and pragmatics there ("Je t'emmerde" ≠ "I'm insulting you" semantically, but pragmatically, as "Fuck you"). Ok, i've reviewed and added some stuff. Surely it can be touched-up, like perhaps senses 1 and 2 can be fused into sense 1, that is, removing def 2 but keeping its examples. --Jerome Potts (talk) 01:00, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
