Note that the OED doesn't even list this form as an alt for dunny but Google Scholar search (Vanilla Google and Google Book searches not providing accurate result counts) confirm it's more common those the OED provides. Also, this dictionary of early-20th century Aussie slang gives the sense "closet" but that might itself simply be an overly cute treatment of outhouse or toilet, until we have other sources supporting a more general sense of the word. — LlywelynII 04:24, 16 April 2016 (UTC)
