All the citations seem to be dumb in the sense of mute (unable to speak) so the definition probably should be changed to clarify that. "Someone who is dumb" today would more often suggest stupidity. Equinox 11:34, 22 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

I changed the definitions to obsolete spelling of the old sense and alternative spelling of the modern sense. One could also consider it a single alternative spelling of a single word. Vox Sciurorum (talk) 20:13, 24 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
