Definition

[edit]

Original def (by me!): "To participate blindly and eagerly in something considered inferior or harmful." Current def: "To give in to pressure from others by uncritically accepting their ideology." I wonder if pressure is actually required, though. Equinox 02:14, 3 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

I agree and have tweaked the definition. - -sche (discuss) 00:33, 6 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Usage primarily US?

[edit]

Should this entry perhaps be marked as a predominantly US colloquialism? — This comment was unsigned.

Probably. I've never seen the Kool-Aid brand here in the UK and doubt we've ever had it. What about Canada? Equinox 01:08, 21 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
Poking around (by no means exhaustively), I only saw a very few Canadian and UK instances, so I labelled it "chiefly US". - -sche (discuss) 00:35, 6 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
