Dirigibles do not necessarily have rigid designs. For instance, the dirigibles of Alberto Santos-Dumont had a pressurized bag and no rigid internal structure. Blimpguy 18:36, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

- That is a common misconception. But dirigible means steerable. Nothing more. When rigids were the dominant technology, the terms, informally, became confused. But dirigibles are both rigids and non-rigids. See the wikipedia articles for more details. Blimpguy 17:11, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
