Noun?

[edit]

There is a noun-like use of digital, similar to that of creative in modern marketing. Real-world examples:

  • "One producer compares digital recording to genetic science. [] Digital lends itself to that kind of endless tinkering."
  • "Digital lends itself to the habitual nature of our content. Our readers finish reading one [romance novel] and they can download the next."
  • "Unlike traditional media such as TV and radio, digital is so entwined [] with other technologies in cyberspace that it is difficult to isolate each tool in terms of how it helps marketers."
  • "Digital is the reason behind the powerful and seamless blending of technology, branded entertainment, and media."
