@Morgengave, Mnemosientje It looks like this word mostly survives in toponyms, do you think a toponym entry should be made? Also, some older sources give a different etymology equivalent to 'dodenweg' (not sure how or in what dialects that would work). ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 18:08, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- I'm not sure how 'dodenweg' would work etymologically either, it sounds like a wild guess. Wiktionary:Criteria for inclusion#Place names does not mention road names, so it's in a grey area, but as it's etymologically interesting I vote for moving this to a capitalized entry. It looks like it survives only in a single road, though, in Ede-Wageningen. Doesn't appear to be really attested as anything other than a street name, so this lowercase entry should probably go in any case. — Mnemosientje (t · c) 15:07, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
- Do you think it is appropriate to move right away? RFVing it just to move it seems rather pointless (and it wouldn't be the first time the entry gets deleted instead of moved).
