is the prefix pronounced /daɪə/, /diə/, or something else? its such a narrow use that even studying meteorology in school i only heard it occasionally, and i remember both pronunciations. is it one of those words that can pretty much go by the speaker's preference because it appears mostly in print? does OED etc have guidance on this? thanks, —Soap— 15:52, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
