If I am correct in my assumption, and the masters of the English language agree, the fact that 'debuggable' is now recognized as a proper word probably means that 'debuggability' is soon to be recognized as a proper word as well; and for some reason, I find the pronunciation of that word to be wonderfully amuzing. "Debuggability"... it not only rolls but it flows off the tongue. Saying it brings a smile to my lips. "Debuggability"; may I be the first to welcome you to the English language! S. • What do you mean "soon to be ..."? There are several hundred hits for the word on Google book search. SemperBlotto (talk) 22:26, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Well... It never occurred to me to use Google book search to check for acceptable usage of a word in a language. I considered the more base case of the basic Google search instead, and I figured that, since anyone with the ability to post can cause a series of letters to be searchable under the basic engine, I'd go to something like a dictionary, with lexical entries containing -- when possible -- histories, pronounciations, citations, usages, acceptable spellings, etc..., as well as citations. Perhaps I jumped too far in looking for a reference to use for 'what makes a word a word.'SRogers1971 (talk) 22:46, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
We've got an entry now. The spelling debugability occurs in a lot of books too. Equinox 22:56, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
