When used to mean "decade", "décade" is an anglicism (as mentioned on the French page). I think it should be mentioned, or maybe better, this meaning should be removed from the definition.24.49.245.125 04:53, 20 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

The use in the sense of "ten years" is first attested 1611. That's earlier and apparently much earlier than the use in the sense of "ten days" (1793). In contemporary French, décennie is standard for "decade", but the use per se is not an anglicism.
