Crumbs is derived from an Irish curse “The Curse of Cromwell on you” This was shortened over time to “Crummell” and then to the expletive “Crumbs” I had a grandmother with Irish connections who frequently used the expletive Crummell John Atkins1 (talk) 19:19, 30 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
