Blend of correct + rectitude

According to Microsoft® Encarta® 2009, Blend of correct + rectitude (Late 19th century), --Backinstadiums (talk) 17:17, 17 August 2019 (UTC)

I am sceptical. I checked the OED and it says "correct + -itude combining form, after rectitude", i.e. modelled on that word but not an actual blend. Equinox ◑ 20:20, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
