Is this not NISOP? There are lots of stands: hat stand, music stand, umbrella stand, which are all just the sense of stand device to hold something upright or aloft plus the thing being held upright or aloft. Some get by on COALMINE, but others likely do not. I have also never heard of clothes stands, we have clothes racks around here for drying clothes, and dish racks for drying dishes... - TheDaveRoss 13:05, 12 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

keep. If we delete one 'stand' we have to delete them all, as well as 'dish rack', etc. These are all compound nouns for common household items. There are a limited number of them. Them them stand, I say. - Sonofcawdrey (talk) 21:26, 12 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
