Can't find this uncapitalised generic term in Google Books. Capitalised, it may be a trademark, but would then need to meet WT:BRAND which seems unlikely. Equinox ◑ 20:55, 26 December 2019 (UTC)

This is cited in lower case, but the capitalized version is FAR more common. The capitalized version seems to be used generically (getting the capitalization from "Chrome" rather than the brand name "Chromebook", which also exists, just to confuse matters). For example:

  Technically a Chromebook is just a portable computer running Google's Linux-based Chrome OS, but the majority of Chromebooks are light, inexpensive, relatively modest in computing power and storage, and on the small end of the laptop spectrum.
