Usage notes sense 2

Sense 2, (motorcycle) is generally intended ironically, as to mock inexperienced riders who think the narrowest width of unused tire tread is a testament to riding skill or courage.
Actually, the width of the "chicken strips" often is a testament to riding skill (or courage/stupidity). True, a skilled rider doesn't necessarly ride with high degrees of lean in traffic all the time. But the skill needed to manouver the vehicle in such a way that produces narrow "chicken strips" is something that needs to be kept fresh and thus practiced regularly. Being skilled at riding in such a way is not "squidish" behaviour; in fact it is absolutely necessary in order to be able to avoid accidents, and it is the reason why it is part of the driver's license test in most countries.
In summary: someone who has wide "chicken strips" on otherwise worn tires, but still claims to be a skilled rider, will have to be lying.
The conclusion will have to be that anyone claiming that only inexperienced riders think that chicken strips is a testament to riding skill or courage (stupidity), will have to be someone trying to dismiss remarks on his/her own lack of driving skill.
Thus, the segment above should be removed.

I've deleted it because I think it's clear enough due to the above. Otherwise, please make your case here on the discussion page.
