"Sinitic spelling"

[edit]

The addition of "Sinitic spelling" is very confusing and probably inaccurate, as there is no Chinese word "字喃"; that term in Chinese is 喃字. The term "字喃" is Vietnamese chữ Nôm only (a complex writing system combining Chinese characters, often in new usages, with thousands more Vietnamese-invented characters that look Chinese but are unintelligible to Chinese readers). 71.66.97.228 19:06, 23 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
