Why should it be mentioned here "originally by beheading" in the definition? It's part of etymology, or the definition of another (maybe obsolete), narrower meaning. The translations in most languages have nothing to do with beheading specifically. Andres 19:16, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- I agree you as "originally by beheading" is part of etymology, thus "capital" punishment. We should also add "death penalty" as a synonym, shouldn't we?--Jusjih 16:55, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
