As with the other forms of canonical, I propose that canonicalisation is also created.

Should there be an authoritative source defining the word or are we free to add it to Wiktionary because we think it should exist?

• Go to Google ngram viewer and see the relative frequency of use of the two forms. If they are both used then go for it. In this case, I have done just that and will create the alternative spelling for you. SemperBlotto (talk) 11:57, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
