The OED claims that camaraderie and comradery have different pronunciations, and that comradery is a separate (rare) word, rather than an alternate spelling of camaraderie. I don't necessarily think they're right, but I figured I should mention it. Dfeuer 23:41, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- They don't look as though they'd sound the same (in British English, anyway). I hadn't heard of (deprecated template usage) comradery until just now, though. Chambers doesn't have it, either, but the first syllables of comrade and camaraderie are not the same in Chambers. Equinox ◑ 23:44, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
