It's in OED with one cite for each sense. In EEBO I find an additional cite for the "hanger-on" sense, and another text by Foxe (who is also responsible for one of the OED cites) which doesn't make a lot of sense to me: what are "byhangers of accidentes" and "byhangers of bread"?
