Calvin

A lot of people .... probably especially my generation and a bit older .... associate this phrase exclusively with the Calvin & Hobbes comic strip that ran from 1985 to 1995. Perhaps Watterson didn't invent it, but having never heard it even once in the wider world, I'd say he certainly popularized it. I will add at least one quote from the comic strip here, but I'm also interested in looking for other uses, especially uses from before 1985. —Soap— 06:40, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
