Slavic origin?
[edit]It might be coincidence, but it resembles (at least in my eyes) a compound of e.g. Serbo-Croatian buba/буба (bug, beetle) and some cognate of "rose" (e.g. Romanian roză, Bulgarian роза (roza), or Serbo-Croatian ruža/ружа).
