There are some mavens (like this guy) who think that 'broke' uses 'more' and 'most' rather than '-er' and '-est', but it's a monosyllabic adjective and the '-er' and '-est' forms have been more common through the history of the English language. — LlywelynII 05:47, 26 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
