In answer to the question along the lines of "is this how multiple etymolgies are done?":

Actually no in two ways. When a word gains new senses they still go under the same etymology. Only when a word enters the language from outside does it need a new etymology. For instance if two words were borrowed from two different languages but but both had the same spelling.

Now if these sense really did have separate etyms then a 2nd etym section followed by all the other sections would be required.
