I don't understand. Are you asking if the word is necessary, or our entry for it? If the former, then I think the answer's no: it's a silly and superfluous word, and I imagine most people get along fine without ever in their lives encountering it. If the latter, then I think the answer's yes; at least, our mandate covers all words in all languages, and this being an English word, it apparently qualifies. (I suppose "necessary" is the wrong word, since Wiktionary itself is not actually necessary, but it's in that general direction.) —Ruakh_TALK 04:15, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
