Removed. It was absurd. BTW, an older version read: "Said due to the fact that many impoverished people in Africa are recorded in abject poverty swatting or scratching at flies." Equinox ◑ 11:50, 25 February 2024 (UTC)

Yet it was backed by the two quotes in the entry. Particularly a text of that amount was needed to outline the arisal of this term in Black English, which you don’t expect. Don’t you think it always sounds hideous if one expands upon the development of racist tropes? Credo quia absurdum est? It must be that bad. These are the primitive parts of our brain deluding our intuitition, though the message of the writing be overall rational and scientific. Due to the linearity and cultural context of our working language we cannot completely avoid giving mixed impressions—if not leaving out a lot for being embarrassed too much. The default mode network, save that of a rare kind of psychopath, always occupies itself with the question “what will others think of me?” And this depends on the media resources available at any given time to form personalities.
