Subject to updates, earliest known use was circa 1952; we grammar school children in Coronado, California heard the older students using 'bitchen', but were forbidden by our parents and teachers to say the word. As this was a 'surfer" town, it could likely have had surfer origins, but was common currency amongst male teens. The meaning then was the same as now.
