Biote is an American english word spelled bioTE in the usage I'm familiar with. It is used in a doctor's web ad to refer to some kind of bio-technological practice, probably hormone replacement therapy. I have not yet found a formal definition. Written 7-20-15 by lvhayes@twc.com in Orange, TX.----
