Are you sure it's not an adjective?

Primarily tailoring apparel?

[edit]

The Wikipedia article (w:Bespoke) states "Bespoke (i/biˈspoʊk/) is an English word that means a clothing item made to a buyer's specification (personalised or tailored). While it can be applied to other items, including computer software and luxury cars, the term historically was applied only to men's tailored clothing, footwear and other apparel, implying measurement and fitting. For most non-clothing items, the term build to order is usually used instead." Is that accurate? Should we note this as well? - [The]DaveRoss 10:22, 5 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • I don't know anything about history, but meanings do evolve. From the 2023 w:Barbie (film) main trailer:
KEN: Hey Barbie. Can I come to your house tonight?
BARBIE: Sure. I don't have anything big planned. Just a giant blowout party with all the Barbies and planned choreography and a bespoke song. You should stop by.
KEN: So cool.

I don't recall if that exact dialogue was in the movie itself. 2607:F470:E:22:E801:6EAC:30B2:915C 16:50, 20 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
