Well, I have always heard this as "bat around" as in "they batted all the way around the batting order". As evidence of this, a google search of "bat around" (in quotes) gives 91K entries and for "bat a round" (in quotes) gives only 31. Thanks though! Brholden 06:08, 28 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
