@Houflings: Yeah, so I think the term "balaw" is specific to the resin of the plant "apitong", since the English word damar seems to be a more general word, a resin of many species. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 08:36, 27 November 2021 (UTC)

@Mar vin kaiser i used it because The Cebuano definition uses it.. if you also look deeper into the book some areas call apitong, balau Houflings (talk) 09:03, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
