A contrary view of axioms

I have come up with a different way of looking at axioms: We don't perceive them, we make them up. We then build logic systems or other systems out of our axioms. If a system is useful, then the axioms were good. Please see my essay on this subject at http://www.logicmazes.com/g4g7.html.
