A quick search of Google brings up: dictionary entries (which honestly look like mirrors of Wiktionary), companies and services named after the word, and at least one of those new-age sites. The word itself looks like SoP, and doesn't easily lend itself to useful meaning—I can't imagine what "the study of oneself" would entail that 'psychology' [or possibly biology doesn't already cover. Of course, it could just be that this is a real word which I have simply never heard of.

Also: autological links to this word, which would seem to imply that the word could mean "a word which is autological". I didn't see any citations for that either, but if I or someone is going to do a deeper search, then that would be something to watch out for. I could find plenty of uses of the word - added a few, plus cites to support two additional meanings. If you don't think this is sufficient, I can add more. Kiwima (talk) 02:46, 8 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
Ah, thanks. I had a feeling I might just be ignorant of the word. ObſequiousNewtGeſpꝛaͤchBeÿtraͤge 03:39, 8 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
It's "now rare" according to the OED, but it's been in use since 1633. Dbfirs 07:41, 12 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
