[edit]“aunǧel, n.”, in MED Online, Ann Arbor, Mich.: University of Michigan, 2007. gives the following on the plural et cetera:
"Pl. a(u)nǧeles & engles, angles; gen. pl. (early) englene, anglen; combining form (early) engle-"
I suppose the forms with no e after the g would have a hard g. So is it correct to say (as our article does) that the word "aungel" was pronounced with a soft g? Eric Kvaalen (talk) 14:43, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
