I thought "Audio" itself was its own verb, what exactly does "Audiam" describe to its minute detail? Audio is the verb describing waveforms being processed by the human ear (as we know it) as sound (synonym)/audio.

This is just the entry for all the grammatical forms of the verb that are spelled this way: "audiam" as the first-person singular future active indicative of audiō is Latin for "I will hear", and as the first-person singular present active subjunctive of audiō is Latin for "I may hear". Audio is the main entry that all of these "form of" entries link back to. In the same way, we have the main entry or lemma at English hear, but we also have "form of" entries at hears (third-person singular simple present indicative form of hear), hearing (present participle of hear) and heard (simple past tense and past participle of hear).
