How do the two senses of audacity differ? RJFJR 01:16, 26 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

The first is expressed with a negative connotation; the second is neutral to positive in its connotation. At least, that's how I read the two senses currently on the page. I'm not sure that both senses would be distinct if we had citations. I've not heard the word used in a particularly positive light. --EncycloPetey 01:48, 26 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Striking, since no tag was ever added to the entry, and it's not clear exactly what verification was requested. (The original comment reads almost like an RFD-duplicate-sense comment, actually.) —RuakhTALK 02:51, 2 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
