How can /ˈæn.ə.laɪ.zəz/ be a correct pronunciation of the English verb form? I have always thought that when the suffix -s takes the allomorph written <-es>, it's pronunciation is /ɪz/, therefore /ˈæn.ə.laɪ.zɪz/ should be the only pronunciation for the English verb form. 91.154.122.198 19:45, 25 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
