Incorrect spelling. Should be ad nauseam, and that article already exists. The pronunciation is included in ad nauseum, and seems to be correct, but the media file on Commons should be moved as well (created by User:Dmcdevit). – Krun 13:04, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- M-W itself quotes two examples, so this should be labeled as a misspelling if not an alternative spelling (with several hundred Google book hits). DAVilla 14:41, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- SB has now deleted this entry out-of-process and without comment. Nothing to see here folks, just move along now. DAVilla 19:53, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- I've restored it so that we may continue the discussion and accumulate quotations. --EncycloPetey 20:02, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- Hm, I guess that's what I get for using a Special:Randompage to learn how to use Audacity. :-) Dmcdevit 22:25, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- I think this should be labeled as a common misspelling, then. The Latin grammar is clearly not correct with -um, and my Oxford American lists only ad nauseam. Ad naueam also has more Google Books hits, albeit not so great a difference. Since the other has a significant number of hits as well, it is at least a notable or common misspelling. – Krun 13:16, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Please note this is not Wikipedia: "notability" has no bearing whatsoever, here.
- Keep as common misspelling (clearly widespread use.) --Connel MacKenzie 03:27, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
