citation

[edit]

The Romans (technically themselves barbaroi) took up the word and applied it to tribes or nations which had no Greek or Roman accomplishments

Which definition of accomplishment would this line up with? Eggmuth 08:39, 21 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sense 3, although our definitions here need a lot of work. Ƿidsiþ 08:57, 21 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

Sometimes this word is used in the sense 'feeling of being accomplished'; this note is a self-todo to get cites for that. Arlo Barnes (talk) 18:37, 9 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
