Dutch etymology

[edit]

The Woen#Dutch page says this: "which in turn derived from Old Dutch Wuodan (“Woden”), from Proto-West Germanic *Wōdan, from Proto-Germanic *Wōdanaz, from a pre-Germanic *Wātónos."

So not a learned borrowing from OHG? 2001:1C02:1990:A900:F22C:41F7:3B7A:2D77 13:50, 22 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
