Fixed completely wrong entry
[edit]There used to be two entries for this term, one at West Briton and a tiny one (flawed) definition at West Brit. I've merged the latter into the former. For historical interest, here's the (incorrect) definition that was once on the "West Brit" page, but was fixed and merged into "West Briton":
- (Ireland) Derogatory term for a person with Anglo-Irish ancestry; properly a [[West Briton]
I'm archiving it here to avoid the, albeit unlikely, recurrence of this mistake. Here's one page that explains the term:
- In its least insulting sense it refers to an Irish person who has sympathies for the UK or who takes his cultural and social cues from Britain.
This term is cultural, not racial.
