Etymology

This name does not come from a children's book author childhood nickname. It is a diminutive of Wendeline , the root of both related to wind and the Vandals .

It mentions prior use. I've added other possible origins for the name. Leasnam (talk) 16:11, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
