- I've added two newspaper citations for this one (Free Times is a printed supplement) but can't find anything else. Weirdly they're within 9 days of each other so ideally a third cite would be from at least a year before or after. Twitter has plenty of examples if we admit it here, and there's also an album with it in the title ([1]). —Al-Muqanna المقنع (talk) 14:01, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
Searching on plain old Google for ["drampf" "trump"] yields a grand total of 204 results. After the 25th hit, the rest are omitted for being duplicates. 98.170.164.88 23:12, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

The reference link is to an archive of 4chan. Can we find and add quotations, preferably from a better source? 98.170.164.88 22:21, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

General comments
[edit]I've rearranged these and added a couple to show that they're all created by the same account, assembly-line style. We need to be careful to weed out random deliberate mangling of Trump's ancestral surname that happens to be repeated. That's what most of those 4-chan quotes seem to be doing. If you think about it, there are only so many ways you can misspell "Drumpf" that are recognizable enough for people to catch the reference, so if people keep doing it enough they're going to repeat some of the forms. - I left out Blumpf and Dumpf because they had more hits on Google, and because they seemed more likely to be intentional. (In the case of the former, it's unlikely that one would confuse "dr" for "bl"; in the case of the latter, there may be influence from dump.). That said, I was on the fence about listing them here and am happy that you have done so. 98.170.164.88 00:39, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
RFV Failed for all. The "references" to 4chan and Urban Dictionary are cute though. Ioaxxere (talk) 19:19, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
