Threadneedle Street etymology
[edit]Wikipedia gives a totally different etymology to us (though I am fairly sure theirs is tripe), http://www.infoplease.com/dictionary/brewers/threadneedle-street.html makes more sensible claims, should we include both or is ours the actually correct one. - According to my Oxford Dictionary of English: “Origin: Threadneedle from three-needle, possibly from a tavern with the arms of the City of London Guild of Needlemakers”. --Vahagn Petrosyan 20:36, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
