I realize that "less accurately" veers into POV, but there is ample support for this designation. If we're going to mention Yahweh and Jehovah at all, we should point this out. Somewhere in the discussion of all this I've included a link to a history of the term, including the various factors that strongly imply the pronunciation Yahweh. FWIW, The Jewish tradition of not pronouncing this term has been somewhat mythologized over the years — there's both more and less there than meets the eye. -dmh 05:11, 18 Jan 2005 (UTC)

I think they were confused. I find no evidence for such usage, although I do see texts making clear distinction between using Deus and the tetragrammaton to refer to God. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 06:02, 9 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
