Dad

I remember a conversation somewhere saying that this name could have come partly from the word for Dad, if a boy was born who visually or in some other way resembled the father's own father. We discarded this theory, but it would at least follow a pattern where in some Balkan countries, one can refer to one's daughter as Mom. —Soap— 16:41, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
