We wouldn't want an entry for "1918 influenza pandemic", because it's not in use as a lexical unit. It's what we call "Sum of Parts". This is a dictionary, not an encyclopedia. Wikipedia is interested in presenting information about the subject of a phenomenon that happened a century ago, in all of its aspects. We're only interested in providing information about the phrase "Spanish influenza" as a phrase. We provide links to Wikipedia articles so that readers can find out about the subject. @Chuck Entz I am not a regular here so I am unsure about this. It seems like a single unbreakable unit of a term to me. Thanks for the response, I will think about this especially in context of Wikidata's management of the similar synonym lists. Blue Rasberry (talk) 16:10, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
