The synonyms aren't the same
[edit]Given Incessant or incessantly recurring, but futile, I don't think herding cats is the same as that is difficult, not recurring, and not futile if successful. Nor is like painting the Forth Bridge as the painting has utility, preventing rust, so is not futile. Ralph Corderoy (talk) 10:07, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
