Talk:Sesterz
Gender and forms
[edit]Probably all three genders can be attested with a bit of effort/time, at which point {{U:de:three genders}}
could be added, with as many additional qualifiers as to relative rareness as necessary. Some old works opine that when Sesterz is neuter instead of masculine, the plural is Sesterzen ([1]) or Sesterzien ([2]), but the first of those links says Sestertien (with t) is instead the plural of Sestertium, aligning with some other books' suggestion than Sesterzien is a plural of Sesterzium. Sesterzen is also a plural of Sesterze and even the masculine Sesterz. I can also find and have added des Sesterzen as a weak genitive of der Sesterz coordinating with a weak plural Sesterzen. It'll take a while to sort out and create all the needed entries. - -sche (discuss) 23:07, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
