Proper noun?

[edit]

Since scouser is derived from scouse, I would have thought that it was an ordinary noun, rather than a proper noun. Modern tendency is away from capitalisation, isn't it? Should we redirect from Scouser to scouser, rather than the other way round? I will check usage before I alter anything. Dbfirs 12:37, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

A quick check of Google Books reveals that about 70% of usage is capitalised, so I will not change the entries. Dbfirs 12:46, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
